I carry you in my heart
I carry your heart with me
I carry it in my heart
I am never without it
Anywhere I go you go,my dear
And whatever is done by only me
Is your doing, my darling
I fear no fate
For you are my fate, my sweet
I want no world
For beautiful you are my world,my true
And it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
And whatever a sun will always sing is you
Here is the deepest secret nobody knows
Here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
And the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
Higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide
And this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
I carry your heart
I carry it in my heart

Not enough drama
No more depressive crap. No more bad memories. No more... Because there's just not enough drama. Sadly enough, no drama means no writing. Not the way I want to.
I guess I just woke up in the snow instead of falling asleep in it, so I didn't see death coming, not even close. I've got everything I want within my reach. Everything.

Katrientje

One out of three. That’s our score for this week. One out of three battles in this great ugly war.
One for the effort we’re not always willing to make.
And yet I find myself willing to fight for it everyday. Just until this picture forms in the back of my mind and without the complete and utter faith, I used to have, I raise the white flag. Is it all really worth this war? And what will be this war’s result?
Still in the second one, towards the end, wondering when the third one will start.

‘Cause some wars result in complete and total victory. Some wars end with a peace offering. Some wars end in hope...And some wars just end with death.
But all these wars are nothing compared to the most frightening war of all. The one you have yet to fight. How many wars have we yet to fight?
Still in the second one, towards the end, wondering when the third one will start.

The trouble with alcohol is…
Hmm, what exactly is the trouble with alcohol?
1) The part where we all tend to forget our deeds ?
2) The part where we speak ever so directly about how we feel and act on it?
3) The morning after?
On number 1 I guess we all have to agree that forgetting is sometimes very shameful. You don’t remember who you’ve kissed, where your hands went, what you said but most of all who’s seen it. On the other hand, drinking to forget isn't that shameful but just human.
Number 2 is about the cliché we all have heard once in our lives: "Children and drunks always tell the truth." So when that one guy tells you he’s interested and that he’s been wrong about you, do you have to believe it? What about the body parts all over the place when the two of you have been drinking? Does it still make sense the next day?
What is there to believe? It’s no secret that drunk people are more loosen up than others. But I can’t help but wonder how much of your free will is there still to find in the drunk you? Or has the alcohol just sent you on a path without a gps? All sober thoughts pushed into a corner only to act upon the drunk ones? Or is there still truth in our thoughts when we act on them?
And what about the morning after? How much do you really remember of last night? Sometimes it’s great when the puzzle falls in order after talking it over with some friends ‘cause nobody wants to be left in the dark. But do we really want to remember everything? I mean, seriously?
